Dua Lipa and Callum Turner compatibility: don't let noon pick a Moon

4 min read

Dua Lipa is a Leo. Callum Turner is an Aquarius. You can find plenty of compatibility stories in those two labels. But before adding a Scorpio Moon to the story, look at the small print beside his birth time.

It is unknown. The Moon changed signs on his birthday.

On February 15, 1990 in London, the tropical Moon moved from Libra into Scorpio at approximately 08:34 GMT, according to Lunara's central Swiss Ephemeris calculation. A birth earlier that morning would give a Libra Moon; a later birth would give a Scorpio Moon. Without the clock, we cannot choose between them.

This is a worked example, not a claim about their private relationship. British Vogue reported their civil wedding in London on May 31, 2026. A chart did not establish that event, and it cannot tell us how the marriage feels to either person.

Why a chart can show a Moon it cannot establish

Callum's Astrotheme record labels its birth-time reliability X: “Date without time of birth.” It also says the chart is arbitrarily calculated for noon.

Noon is useful for drawing a reference chart. On this particular day it falls after the Moon's sign change, so the displayed Moon is in Scorpio. That precise-looking position is a consequence of the chosen calculation clock—not evidence that he was born after 08:34.

There is nothing wrong with a clearly labelled noon chart. The problem is losing the label when its positions become a personality description.

For this comparison, we exclude Callum's Moon contacts, both people's houses, and rising-sign interpretations. We do not assign him an emotional style from either possible Moon sign.

The two time sources have different support

Dua's Astrotheme record lists 00:18 on August 22, 1995, in Westminster, London. It carries reliability A: “From memory or autobiography,” and attributes the time to her Instagram. We reviewed that secondary record, not the original Instagram post or a birth certificate.

We use its source-listed clock for the comparison below and keep that choice explicit. Callum's February 15, 1990 record has no birth time, so we sample his London date at every hour, plus 23:59, instead of treating noon as his actual clock.

Those are 25 hypothetical calculation times, not 25 accounts of when he was born. The ranges below describe those samples, not mathematically proved bounds for every instant of the day.

Three contacts we can discuss without choosing his Moon

Sun opposite Sun: two ways of being seen

Dua's Leo Sun and Callum's Aquarius Sun form an opposition in our calculation. With her source-listed time held fixed, the distance from an exact 180° opposition is 1.38–2.39° across the sampled Callum clocks.

In a symbolic reading, the Leo–Aquarius axis can be a prompt about individual expression and belonging to a group. It does not prove attraction, conflict, or that “opposites attract.”

For your own relationship: When we are with other people, what makes each of us feel included without feeling managed?

Venus opposite Sun: affection does not always land as intended

Dua's Venus in Leo is also opposite Callum's Sun, with a sampled deviation of 1.64–2.65° from the exact angle.

Sun–Venus is often used to discuss the fit between self-expression and affection. An opposition gives you a question to ask, not a diagnosis of this couple.

Try: What affectionate gesture do I enjoy giving that you do not especially enjoy receiving? Either person can pass. A real answer is more useful than a sign stereotype.

Mercury trine Venus: make appreciation specific

Dua's Mercury in Virgo and Callum's Venus in Capricorn form a trine, with a sampled deviation of 1.92–2.19° from 120°.

Mercury–Venus is a traditional symbolic pairing for words and appreciation. Here, use it as a reason to get concrete: What did your partner do this week that you appreciated but have not mentioned?

We found each of these three contacts in all 25 sampled outputs. That does not turn them into evidence of anyone's feelings or a prediction about a marriage.

Leave the missing clock missing

If you want to compare your own relationship, start with the free two-chart calculator. Use another person's birth information with their permission, and leave a time unknown rather than borrowing one from a plausible-looking chart.

The optional paid relationship reading puts supported calculated contacts beside written interpretations and conversation questions. It omits Moon and angle contacts involving someone with an unknown time; the offer page shows the format and price before purchase.

You can have a useful conversation without filling every blank in a chart. You cannot make the missing information more reliable by giving it a precise-looking degree.

Sources and calculation notes

Sources reviewed October 3, 2026. Calculations use Lunara's existing production synastry action and central Swiss Ephemeris path, tropical geocentric positions, and the Europe/London civil timezone. London coordinates resolve the timezone; no claim about a precise birth location or house placement is made. The Moon ingress is rounded to the nearest minute. Readings and questions are symbolic prompts, not scientific relationship assessments, private-history inferences, or forecasts.
