Jimin is a Libra. Lisa is an Aries. Those labels are easy to find, but they leave out most of the chart.
Lisa's Aries Sun sits beside Venus and Saturn, while the planet that rules Aries, Mars, is in Virgo. Jimin's Libra Sun makes an almost exact contact with Saturn in Pisces. Reading either person as a stock Sun-sign description misses those differences.
This guide now covers eleven readings: all seven members of BTS and all four members of BLACKPINK. Each starts with the actual placements in Lunara's catalogue, then explains the astrology in plain English. They are symbolic interpretations, not evidence about anyone's private life. A chart cannot tell us whom an artist is dating or whether a fan is their soulmate.
The eleven charts at a glance
Sun, Mercury and Venus for each birth date. Every position was sampled hourly through the local birth day, plus 23:59, and all three hold one sign all day in every chart, so no alternatives are needed here. Degrees are rounded day ranges.

What we know about the birth times
Clocks matter most for the Moon, the Rising sign and the houses, and they aren't equal across these eleven profiles.
- Jungkook is the only one with a stored birth time: 15:25 in Busan, carrying a Rodden A rating from the catalogue's source. His profile uses it for houses and an Ascendant, as a source-rated assumption rather than a birth certificate checked by Lunara.
- The other ten have no birth time in the catalogue, so their readings use only placements that hold for the whole birth day, with no Rising sign or houses.
- Moon signs that hold all day: Jimin (Gemini), J-Hope (Taurus), RM (Sagittarius), V (Aries), Lisa (Scorpio) and Rosé (Aries).
- Moon signs left open: Jin (Pisces until about 06:48 local time, then Aries), Suga (Virgo until about 13:45, then Libra), Jennie (Scorpio until about 22:24, then Sagittarius) and Jisoo (Capricorn until about 03:39, then Aquarius).
- Jungkook's Moon: on the date alone it would be open too, because it moved from Leo to Virgo at about 13:26. With the rated 15:25 clock, his profile places it in Virgo.
BTS, in seven charts
Jin: Venus across from a retrograde Mars
Jin's sharpest line runs between Venus at about 24° Capricorn and a retrograde Mars at 27° Cancer, an opposition read as composed taste facing an inward-turning drive. Mercury sits on Pluto in Scorpio, read as speech that goes for depth. The Sagittarius Sun is cradled by Jupiter and Saturn. The catalogue lists Gwacheon as his birthplace and Wikipedia gives neighbouring Anyang; both are in the same time zone, so the placements are identical either way. Read Jin's chart.
Suga: a slow Venus and a fused Pisces Sun
On Suga's birth day Venus barely moves, at about 20° Aries, as it slows toward a retrograde turn. It squares the 1993 Uranus–Neptune conjunction in Capricorn. A nearly stationary planet is traditionally treated as emphasised. His Sun and a retrograde Mercury are fused at about 18–19° Pisces, and Mars in Cancer squares Jupiter in Libra. Read Suga's chart.
J-Hope: the last degree of Aquarius
J-Hope's Sun spends the whole birth day in the final degree of Aquarius, square to Pluto and the North Node in Scorpio. Just across the sign line, Mercury, Saturn and Venus share early Pisces, with Venus exactly opposite Chiron. That puts a bright, social Sun beside a softer, more porous set of personal planets. Read J-Hope's chart.
RM: a Virgo Sun that reaches past the detail
RM's Sun at about 19° Virgo makes a close trine to Neptune in Capricorn. That is read as precision with room for imagination, rather than Virgo as pure detail. Mercury in Libra squares Mars in Cancer, and Venus in early Scorpio trines Saturn in Pisces, which the reading treats as taste with depth and patience. Read RM's chart.
Jimin: Libra with a demanding Saturn contact
Jimin's Sun is around 19° Libra. Saturn is around 19° Pisces, roughly 150° away: a quincunx rather than a square or opposition. In astrology, that contact is read as an adjustment between a wish for balance and the demands of discipline.
That gives the Libra reading a different emphasis from the usual easygoing description. The useful question is how someone keeps refining their work without making every improvement a new condition for feeling satisfied. It is a reflection prompt, not a claim about Jimin's mental state.
His Mercury is retrograde in Libra beside Chiron, and his Mars is in Scorpio. The full Jimin reading explains those contacts separately. With his October 13 birthday coming up, there is more to read than a birthday-sign caption.
For how that refining shows up in his own words about recording, see Jimin's birth chart: grace is not effortless.
V: a Capricorn Sun that stands apart
V's Sun at about 8° Capricorn stands apart from the rest of his chart. Mercury and Mars fall later in Capricorn, inside a band shared with Neptune and Uranus, and Venus is one sign ahead in Aquarius, in a trine to Chiron. The reading treats Venus as the one personal planet stepping outside the Capricorn emphasis. His profile URL is v-bts, which keeps it separate from another catalogue entry. Read V's chart.
Jungkook: the Virgo work happens below the surface
Jungkook's stored chart places the Sun, Moon and retrograde Mercury in Virgo in the eighth house. Virgo's usual themes of practice and refinement meet a house associated with privacy and shared depth. The reading focuses on work developed away from view, rather than reducing Virgo to being tidy.
Venus in Libra opposes Saturn in Aries. In symbolic terms, that puts beauty and enjoyment across from discipline: the difference between something that looks effortless and the repetition needed to make it look that way.
Read Jungkook's chart, including the Capricorn Ascendant calculated from the catalogue's rated birth time. That is a source-rated clock, not a birth certificate independently verified by Lunara.
BLACKPINK, in four charts
Jennie: a Capricorn Sun beside Neptune
Jennie's Sun is almost exactly joined to Neptune in Capricorn. The contrast is useful: Capricorn is traditionally associated with structure and control, Neptune with imagination and projection. Her reading considers how an image can be carefully composed and still leave room for people to see what they want to see.
Her Venus is in Pisces, not Capricorn. Mercury is retrograde at the beginning of Aquarius beside Uranus. Those placements give taste and expression their own reading rather than borrowing a personality verdict from the Sun.
We do not assign Jennie a definite Moon sign here. The Moon moved from Scorpio into Sagittarius on her birth day, and the catalogue has no birth time. Her full reading preserves that uncertainty instead of choosing whichever description sounds more convincing.
Lisa: the Aries impulse, the Virgo engine
Lisa's Sun and Venus are close together in Aries, with Saturn nearby. The symbolism combines initiative and bold taste with repetition and restraint. Meanwhile, Mars, the traditional ruler of Aries, is retrograde in Virgo.
That makes a better starting point than "Aries means impulsive." The reading contrasts a fast instinct with an exacting way of putting it into practice. The Sun and Venus also make close, flowing contacts with Pluto and Uranus, which the article reads as ease with reinvention.
Read Lisa's chart. Her Moon stays in Scorpio across the birth day, so the sign can be included. Its precise degree, lunar aspects, houses and Rising sign cannot be established without a clock.
For a closer look at how Saturn and a retrograde Virgo Mars counterbalance her Aries Sun, read Lisa's birth chart: an Aries Sun, Saturn beside it and Mars in Virgo.
Rosé: five Aquarius planets, one busy Mars
Rosé's Sun, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter and Uranus are all in Aquarius. It is a substantial concentration, but listing five placements does not explain how the chart fits together.
Her retrograde Mars in Libra makes close contacts with Saturn, Jupiter, Uranus and Pluto. That Mars becomes a useful point of entry: astrology associates Libra with balance and collaboration, while the opposition to Saturn introduces restraint. The easier contacts offer a different emphasis on invention and expression.
Rosé's full reading works through that pattern and her Aries Moon. The URL uses the catalogue's existing slug, ros; it is still Rosé's page.
Jisoo: a Capricorn Sun with a stationary Mars
Jisoo's Sun is around 12° Capricorn, in a close sextile to the North Node in Scorpio. In astrology, a soft contact between the Sun and the Node is read as a sense of direction that suits the temperament rather than fighting it, a different emphasis from the stock "Capricorn is ambitious" caption.
The more unusual detail is Mars. On her birth day it stands almost still at 3° Virgo, at the point of turning retrograde, and squares Jupiter and Pluto. A stationary planet is traditionally treated as emphasised, so the reading looks at careful, detail-minded effort that pauses before it moves, as symbolism rather than a claim about how she works.
Venus in Scorpio also links Uranus and Chiron in a small closed pattern, and Mercury sits between Neptune and Uranus in Capricorn. Jisoo's full reading takes those one at a time. Her Moon moved from Capricorn into Aquarius early on the birth day, and the catalogue stores no birth time, so both Moon signs stay open.
For a newer group read the same way, see KATSEYE's six founding members, beyond the Sun sign.
Why ten readings leave out Rising signs
An unknown birth time is missing information. Substituting noon lets us calculate representative planetary positions, but it does not recover the person's Ascendant or houses.
When the Moon stays in one sign through the local birth day, the sign is established, not its exact degree or aspects. When the day crosses a Moon-sign boundary, as it does for Jin, Suga, Jennie and Jisoo, both possibilities remain open. Jungkook's reading uses the catalogue's rated clock and can therefore discuss houses and angles under that stated assumption.
The individual pages show the chart and its source limits together. Exact-looking numbers should never conceal a guessed birth time.
Turn it toward your own chart
Two examples of how to use these readings as a mirror rather than a scorecard:
- If you share a Venus sign with someone here, say Venus in Pisces like J-Hope and Jennie, read the Venus paragraph on their page and ask: which part of this describes what I actually enjoy, and which part only describes what I admire? The answer is about you, not about them.
- If your Sun and Mercury sit in different signs, like RM's Virgo Sun and Libra Mercury, notice whether people meet you through how you sound before they understand what drives you. Write down one moment when that gap helped you and one when it got in the way.
You can also open any profile and use its chart-comparison section to see which calculated contacts you share. A close contact is an astrological comparison, not a relationship probability or evidence of personal access to someone you admire.
For a reading centred on you, calculate your own birth chart. You can leave the time unknown. After the free results, Lunara offers an optional paid personal birth chart reading with chart-specific interpretation and reflection prompts; it is not a prediction of a relationship with a celebrity.
Sources and method
Birth dates and identities can be checked against Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, Jungkook, Jennie, Lisa, Rosé and Jisoo. These biographical links do not verify birth clocks.
The placements and contacts above come from the same Swiss Ephemeris calculation path used by Lunara's catalogue and the eleven authored profile readings. The original six were reviewed October 4, 2026, and Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM and V were added October 5, 2026. The table values are sampled hourly plus 23:59 in each local zone, not continuous bounds. Interpretations belong to astrology's symbolic tradition, not a scientific explanation of an artist's achievements or behaviour.
