Your birth chart, as a receipt
Enter your birth date and city, and your birth time if you know it. You get a paper-style receipt listing the sign of the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn when you were born, plus your Ascendant if you give a recorded time. Save it as an image or share it.
Coordinates, not instructions.
Print your receipt
To calculate the signs, your birth date, city coordinates and time (if given) are sent to Lunara’s server for this calculation. They aren’t put in the page address, browser storage or analytics. The receipt image is then drawn on your device from the signs only, with no date, time, place or name, and Lunara doesn’t upload it. If you share it, it goes to the app you choose. If you open your full chart and buy a reading, the details needed to write it are stored with your order.
What’s on the receipt
One line for each of the seven classical bodies, the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn, with the zodiac sign it was in when you were born. With a recorded birth time there’s an eighth line, your Ascendant (rising sign). No scores, lucky numbers or verdicts: just where things were. This is an astrological keepsake, not scientific evidence of character, and the signs aren’t instructions.
What stays private
Your birth date, city and time (if you give one) are sent to Lunara’s server to calculate the signs. The image never includes them, or your name: only the signs and Lunara’s address. The image is drawn and saved on your device and isn’t uploaded to Lunara; sharing sends it to the app you choose, and only when you press the button.

Frequently asked questions
- Why isn’t my birth date on the receipt?
- Because a birth date, time and place together can identify you. Your details are used on Lunara’s server to calculate the signs, but the image shows only signs and Lunara’s address, so you can share it without sharing those details.
- Why do some lines say two signs?
- Without a birth time, the page checks every hour of your birth day. If a planet, usually the Moon, changed sign that day, the receipt shows both signs in order instead of guessing which one applies to you.
- Why is there no Ascendant without a time?
- The Ascendant changes sign roughly every two hours, so it needs a recorded birth time. The page won’t assume noon or any other time.
- Is this my full birth chart?
- No. It lists seven bodies by sign. Your full chart also has degrees, the outer planets, houses and aspects. Use “Read the chart behind it” to see them.
Method: Lunara’s central Swiss Ephemeris calculation, tropical zodiac, geocentric. With a recorded time, one chart is calculated and the Ascendant sign is included (except at latitudes of 66° or more, where Lunara’s house tools don’t calculate it). Without a time, the page calculates every hour of your local birth day plus 11:59 p.m.: a sign is shown alone only if every sample agrees; otherwise the receipt shows each sign the planet was in that day. Samples are not a minute-by-minute check. The calculation runs on Lunara’s server; the image is then drawn in your browser from a plain SVG and saved as a PNG on your device, without being uploaded to Lunara. Text written with AI assistance.
