Your birth chart, as a poster
Enter your birth date and city, and your birth time if you know it. You get your natal chart wheel as a cream-paper poster: the Sun, Moon and eight planets in their signs, plus houses, Ascendant and Midheaven when you give a recorded time. Download it as a PNG and print it or keep it.
Make your poster
To calculate the chart, your birth date, city coordinates and time (if given) are sent to Lunara’s server for this calculation. They aren’t put in the page address, browser storage or analytics. The poster is then drawn on your device from the chart positions only, with no name, date, time or place, and the download isn’t uploaded to Lunara. If you open your full chart and buy a reading, the details needed to write it are stored with your order.
What’s on the poster
A chart wheel with the twelve signs around the edge and the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto at their positions. With a recorded birth time it adds the twelve houses, the Ascendant (AC) and Midheaven (MC), and lines for the main aspects; underneath, each position is listed to the arcminute. Without a time, each planet is an arc across your birth day and the list gives signs only. It’s a symbolic astrology chart, not a picture of the night sky, and it doesn’t interpret anything.
Printing it
The poster is a 3:4 portrait made for frames such as 12 × 16 in, 18 × 24 in or 30 × 40 cm, and it fits on A4 or US Letter with a white border. The PNG is 2,400 × 3,200 pixels: crisp at small and medium sizes, softer the larger you print it. Colours vary with the printer and paper. It’s a free image, not a print service, and Lunara doesn’t check how it prints.
What stays private
Your birth date, city and time (if you give one) go to Lunara’s server to calculate the chart. The poster never includes them, or your name: only the chart and Lunara’s address. The image is drawn and saved on your device and isn’t uploaded to Lunara.

Frequently asked questions
- Is the poster my real birth chart?
- Yes, once you calculate it. The wheel uses the same positions as Lunara’s full chart for the details you entered. The poster shown before that is a fictional sample and says so on the image.
- Why isn’t my name or birthday on it?
- A birth date, time and place together can identify you, so the poster shows only the chart and Lunara’s address. That way you can hang it or share it without sharing those details.
- What changes without a birth time?
- Without a time there’s no Ascendant, Midheaven or houses, and no exact degrees. Each planet is drawn as a short arc covering where it was during your birth day; the Moon’s arc is the longest. If a planet changed sign that day, both signs are listed.
- What size should I print it?
- It’s a 3:4 portrait, so it fits 12 × 16 in, 18 × 24 in and 30 × 40 cm frames without cropping. At 2,400 × 3,200 pixels it’s sharpest at the smaller sizes. There’s no PDF version.
- Is this a reading?
- No. It’s a symbolic chart wheel: where the planets were, in astrology’s zodiac, drawn as a keepsake. It doesn’t interpret them. For a written interpretation, you can open your full chart from this page.
Method: Lunara’s central Swiss Ephemeris calculation, tropical zodiac, geocentric, drawn with the same wheel orientation as Lunara’s full chart (Ascendant at the left, zodiac running counter-clockwise). With a recorded time, one chart is calculated, with Placidus houses, Ascendant and Midheaven (except at latitudes of 66° or more, where Lunara’s house tools don’t calculate them), and lines for the trines, sextiles, squares and oppositions among the ten planets using the full chart’s orbs. Without a time, the page calculates every hour of your local birth day plus 11:59 p.m.; each planet is drawn as an arc from its earliest to its latest sampled position, with Aries at the left, no aspect lines and no degrees, and a sign changed during the day is listed as both signs. Samples aren’t a minute-by-minute check. The calculation runs on Lunara’s server; the poster is drawn in your browser from a plain SVG and saved as a PNG on your device. Text written with AI assistance. The poster design is original.
